ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
Being an ice cream stand attendant at Kendrick Park Ice Cream Stand means always showing up to work ready to serve our community. This role involves adept cash handling through operating the register and processing transactions accurately. Addressing customer feedback professionally and seeking continuous improvement further enhances the overall customer satisfaction and success of the ice cream stand.

JOB DUTIES/TASKS
● Always greet customers politely with a smile and enthusiasm
● Remember orders, recommend flavors, and provide a positive experience for the customer
● Ability to take, remember, and execute orders quickly.
● Regular monitoring and restocking of ice cream flavors, toppings, and supplies
● Ability to work in a team collaboration for a harmonious workplace.
● Ability to practice safe food handling policies. Ex. Washing hands, and maintain hygiene standards.
● Ability to skillfully scoop and craft visually appealing ice cream treats
● Ensure the quality and presentation of menu items
● Operate the cash register and do simple math without assistance
● Handle customer payments accurately and efficiently
● Keep the serving area clean and organized
● Wash dishes, utensils, and maintain equipment hygiene
● Communicate effectively with team members and managers
● Be aware and knowledgeable on the menu and questions customers may have
● Address customer concerns professionally
● Seek feedback for continuous improvement in service

WORKING CONDITIONS
● Indoor but windows are left open during all shifts, therefore summer heat can affect temperature inside the stand.
● Consistently standing for long periods of time.
● Constant contact with public

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
● 15 years of age
● No experience necessary “Willing to train”
● Willingness and flexibility to work
● Ability to work weeknights and weekends
● Perform tasks associated with food preparation and service
● Ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds or heavier lifting with other employees
