Payrate Range: $13.00-$15.00 per hour
Supervisor: Parks Technician & Athletic Fields Technician

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
We are seeking a motivated and dependable individual to join our team as a Seasonal Part-time Parks Maintenance Workers. This position will assist in the upkeep and maintenance of our parks and recreational facilities during peak seasons. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, able to work independently as well as part of a team, and possess a strong work ethic. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the beautification and functionality of our community's outdoor spaces.

JOB DUTIES/TASKS
• As part of a crew prepare ball fields for practices and games
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and edging grass.
• Assist in troubleshooting irrigation and mechanical issues
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of park facilities, including restrooms, picnic areas, and playgrounds.
• Repair and maintain park infrastructure such as benches, fences, and signage.
• Commit to working in and maintaining a clean and safe work space
• Contribute to the upkeep of Kendrick Pool & Ice Cream Stand
• Develop skills to drive manual transmission
• Load and unload equipment from truck and trailer
• Follow established safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Work as a team to achieve maintenance standards
• Assist with planting, watering, and caring for flowers, trees, and shrubs.
• Develop Turf Management skills
• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment, vehicles, and tools in a safe and efficient manner.
• Painting & Graffiti Removal
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and the public.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Candidates should be prepared to work in all types of weather, including extreme heat, cold, rain, and wind. Additionally, individuals may encounter natural hazards such as uneven terrain, insects, and wildlife. Proper attire and safety equipment will be provided, but candidates should be aware of the potential challenges associated with outdoor work environments and be prepared to adapt as necessary.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• No experience necessary “Willing to train”
• Ability to be on time
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Must possess valid Wyoming Driver’s License
• Ability to work full time, 7:00am-3:30pm
• Willing to work weekends when needed
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
