Job Description 
The assistant waiter supports the restaurant staff in delivering exceptional dining experiences to guests. This role involves assisting waiters with various tasks, ensuring the dining area is clean and organized, and providing excellent customer service. The waiter assistant plays a crucial role in maintaining the flow of service and enhancing overall guest satisfaction. 

Responsibilities 

• Provide support in setting up tables and preparing for service. 
• Greet guests warmly and provide them with menus. Assist guests with their needs and requests in a friendly manner. 
• Ensure tables are clean and properly set before and after each guest. Clear used dishes, utensils, and glassware promptly. Refill water glasses and provide additional condiments as needed. 
• Deliver dishes and drinks to tables accurately and efficiently. Communicate with kitchen staff, waiters, and bartenders to ensure timely service. 
• Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including floors and surfaces. Assist in the organization and cleanliness of the service area. 
• Help with stocking and organizing supplies and materials. Report low inventory levels to the management. 
• Work closely with waiters and other staff to ensure smooth operations. Participate in team meetings and training sessions. 
• Listen to guest concerns and relay information to the waiter or manager. Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing any issues promptly. 
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines. Ensure a safe and clean working environment.
