Job Description 
Facilitate all components of the customer experience and support management policies and procedures for food service and customer service in the front of house.  
Greet all guests with a smile, friendly demeanor, and with urgency. Perform all “steps of Service” from tip to tail of guests visit. Communicate with managers, hosts and expeditors to make sure guests receive the correct order made to specifications. Manage the guest experience so that guests are satisfied, happy and have a strong desire to return. Thank every guest upon leaving and wish them a pleasant evening and hope to see them again. Perform all side work efficiently and effectively.   

Responsibilities 

  • Taking orders with accuracy and attention to detail. Paying special attention to allergies and dietary restrictions. 
  • Serving food and beverages in a timely and organized manner. Ensure that each dish is presented beautifully and that the guests' needs are met throughout the meal. 
  • Complete understanding of the restaurant's menu, including the ingredients used in each dish.  
  • Complete understanding of the restaurant's drink menu, including the ingredients used in each cocktail.  
  • Able to answer any questions the guests may have regarding the food and drinks  
  • Upselling and suggestive selling. 
  • Able to provide pairing recommendations based on the guests' food preferences. 
  • Accommodate any allergies or dietary restrictions communicated by the guests appropriately.  
  • Be a liaise with the kitchen staff to ensure the guests' needs are met. 
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, including setting up and clearing tables, restocking server stations, and ensuring the dining area is presentable. 
  • Monitors and restocks necessary supplies, such as napkins, straws, and condiments, to ensure everything needed during service is ready. 
  • Handle guest payments, including processing credit card transactions, handling cash, and providing accurate change. 
  • Work closely with other restaurant staff, such as kitchen staff, bartenders, waiter assistants, and hosts/hostesses, to ensure smooth operation and excellent customer service. 
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and hygiene practices, to ensure the well-being of guests and staff.
