Title: Grab ‘N Go Supervisor
Location: 211 Smith Street, Sheridan, WY 82801
Reports to: Executive Chef
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Customer Service
• Warmly welcomes and assists patrons, ensuring a positive and professional first impression of The Hub on Smith.
• Fosters an inclusive atmosphere, promoting a positive and engaging environment that reflect the values and mission of the organization.
• Provides impeccable customer service with urgency to customers.
• Always offers a food or beverage option with a smile.
• Exudes pleasant and welcoming demeanor.
• Interacts with customers emitting service excellence.
Operational Oversight
• Manages the growth, development, and promotion of the Grab ‘n Go as a revenue-generating service area.
• Collaborates with the Executive Chef and Development team to create engaging social media content and advertising materials that promote offerings and events for the Grab ‘N Go.
• Forecasts for daily operations, instructing and assisting staff and volunteers.
• Ensures catering requests are fulfilled accurately and promptly, maintaining high standards of service.
• Assesses and adjusts processes to ensure smooth work and customer flow.
• Creates and implements schedules for staff with the oversight of the Executive Chef.
• Maintains records for the area as required.
• Reports health and safety concerns regarding any individuals to the Executive Chef.
• Strictly follows the organization’s procedures in case of an accident.
• Other duties as assigned.
Food & Beverage
• Adheres to food recipes for Grab ‘n Go to maintain quality meeting customer expectations.
• Completes packaging, labeling, and presentation of food.
• Produce attractive displays and merchandises food in display cases keeping it full and fresh.
• Responsible for storing, keeping stock, and monitoring necessary food and supplies.
• Communicates and trains staff in food preparation needs.
• Keeps food safety a priority.
Equipment & Facility
• Responsible for keeping equipment in the Grab ‘n Go area in operational condition.
• Ensure staff and volunteers clean work areas regularly throughout shift.
• Assures signage in the area is clear and helpful to customers.
Financial Management
• Participate in budgeting meetings with the Executive Chef and Finance team to support financial planning and decision-making.
• Manages point of sale and cash management system for Grab ‘n Go.
• Works with finance to count drawers at end of shifts they are working.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Coachable with a willingness to learn and adapt to a changing workflow.
• A contagious passion for food and beverages, fostering a culture of excellence, and continuous learning.
• Proven experience in food service operations and training.
• Food handling and safety training or current certification.
• Strong time management and organizational skills to oversee tasks efficiently.
• Ability to teach, lead, and inspire staff and volunteers effectively.
• Excellent ability to communicate constructively, effectively, and professionally with team members and customers.
• Strong people skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people.
Physical Demands
• Must be able to remain in a Standing position at least 90% of the time.
• Must be able to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas in a way others can understand in all situations.
• Must be able to transport items weighing up to 30lbs.
• Must be able to move about inside and outside of the workspace equipment.
• Primarily operates machinery such as point of sale, coffee machines, and ovens.
• Occasionally, ascends/descends flights of stairs to access supplies.
Minimum Qualifications
• At least 21 years of age.
• 2-years Hospitality and/or Specialty Coffee/Café experience with at least 1 year of people management
• Demonstrated Barista skills and knowledge of café operations a plus.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with a broader range of individuals, but not required.
