Control room operator

Position: Control Room Operator

Sheridan County Detention Center is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Control Operator. This position requires working some holidays and weekends.

PRINCIPAL JOB DUTIES:

· Help maintain the safety and security of Detention staff and inmates by monitoring cameras throughout the facility

· Maintain accurate records of officer and inmate movements and interactions

· Help Detention Officers enforce detention center rules

· Must have communication skills to interact with fellow staff, inmates and general public

· Supervise inmate workers during inside work activities

· Performs other duties as assigned

· Operate 2-way radios

Job Type: Full - Time

Pay Rate: $19.37 per hour
