Seasonal gardener
Ucross Foundation is seeking a full-time seasonal gardener to join our team on our beautiful artist residency campus a half-hour from Sheridan and 20 minutes from Buffalo. We take special pride in our vegetable gardens and native landscaping. And now, we are looking for someone to help us maintain these seasonal works of art.
We are open to a range of experience levels, as long as you have a passion to learn (and don't mind earthworms).
HOURS & COMPENSATION
- Five days per week (weekend availability preferred)
- Approximately 40 hours per week
- $18/hour
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Watering, weeding, and general garden maintenance
- Must relate well with coworkers, artists-in-residence, and the general public
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to lift 50 pounds.
