Front desk/receptionist

Position Summary:
This position will be part of our vision care team.
 
Daily tasks will include, but are not limited to:

  • Answering phone calls
  • Checking patients in / out for office visit
  • Collecting and posting payments
  • Answering and generating emails and faxes
  • Scheduling & preparing patient charts for appointments
  • Having knowledge and be comfortable with explaining insurance / verifying insurance coverage
  • Computer use and data entry
 
Qualifications will include, but are not limited to:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Strong interpersonal / communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Have strong time-management skills & be able to multi-task well in a busy office environment.
  • Candidate must have a willingness to learn, be reliable, able to take initiative & be comfortable with adaptability.
  • Must have the ability to stay focused & work well in a team environment.
  • Position will include HIPAA training and requires the understanding of private & confidential information.
