Front desk/receptionist
Position Summary:
This position will be part of our vision care team.
Daily tasks will include, but are not limited to:
- Answering phone calls
- Checking patients in / out for office visit
- Collecting and posting payments
- Answering and generating emails and faxes
- Scheduling & preparing patient charts for appointments
- Having knowledge and be comfortable with explaining insurance / verifying insurance coverage
- Computer use and data entry
Qualifications will include, but are not limited to:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Strong interpersonal / communication skills.
- Strong customer service skills
- Have strong time-management skills & be able to multi-task well in a busy office environment.
- Candidate must have a willingness to learn, be reliable, able to take initiative & be comfortable with adaptability.
- Must have the ability to stay focused & work well in a team environment.
- Position will include HIPAA training and requires the understanding of private & confidential information.
