Administrative Assistant
Bighorn Development Center is seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Administrative Assistant to support daily operations and serve as a welcoming first point of contact for families and visitors. This role is essential to maintaining a smooth and professional front office while supporting administrative and programming needs.
Position start date: July 1, 2026
Starting wage range: $22.00 – $25.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
Key Responsibilities
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner
• Greet and assist families, visitors, and community partners • Set up and maintain online enrollment files for enrolled preschool children
• Collect and process preschool tuition payments
• Assist with insurance billing and related documentation
• Order, receive, and track office and program supplies
• Prepare and organize snacks for children and clean up afterward
• Provide general administrative support to staff and leadership as needed
Qualifications
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to work with online systems
•Attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Prior administrative or office experience preferred
